Is an Important Tool for Parents of BCS Students 

Through a partnership with Pearson Education, Inc., Bolton Central School became the first school in the North Country to be designated as a PowerSchool. This innovative program uses Internet access from any computer to allow parents instant information, including grades, attendance, assignment and test information. This information is available for review 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the school year.

BCS students and parents will receive coded passwords, which allows access to the information that each teacher enters pertaining to them. In cumulative fashion, PowerSchool lists all courses enrolled in, the assignments and tests, the grades and value to the overall class grade and grade point averages. It also is a great way to insure that all assignments have been satisfactorily completed. In short, it’s an electronic grade book and class register, which you can look at any time that you want. If you don't have a password to explore PowerSchool, call the BCS Guidance Office at 644-2400 ext. 111 during regular school hours.
