That’s exactly what Bolton Central School Choral students did in preparation for this year’s All County Choral Music Festival. Sixteen of Bolton’s choral students from 5th grade up to our seniors headed over to Granville Junior/Senior High School on a recent Friday afternoon right after school to practice well into the evening. After a good night’s sleep, they returned to Granville bright and early in the morning to put the finishing touches on an afternoon performance put together by Retired Choral Director James Miller. This event was very special and overdue. It allowed the All County Choral community to recognize Mr. Miller for his over 30 years of dedication to music. Mr. Miller retired in June of 2020 during the height to the pandemic so it was an honor celebrate Mr. Miller in this way.
Singers from many surrounding schools all shared in what was a fabulous performance.
