Bolton Central School Honors Historic State Championship Team with Ring Ceremony!

Tonight, the Bolton Central School community gathered to celebrate its historic 2026 NYSPHSAA Boys’ Basketball Class D State Championship season with a special ring ceremony. The event honored the players and coaches who laid the foundation for the Eagles' legendary run, which capped off a remarkable 26-1 season built on intense hard work and unwavering dedication.

During the ceremony, players and coaches received commemorative championship rings to mark the program’s very first basketball state title in school history. Supporters gathered in the Bolton Central School Gymnasium to view a special video highlight reel showcasing the team's unforgettable season.

The momentous occasion featured several distinguished guests and speakers, including:

Joseph Girard III: The historic New York State all-time leading high school scorer and professional basketball player, who shared inspiring words of congratulations with the team.
Senator Dan Stec & Assemblyman Matthew Simpson: Who attended the ceremony to formally present official Legislative Resolutions to the five Bolton Eagles who achieved the 1000-point benchmark this year; Jadynn Egloff, Jaxon Egloff, Liam Foy, Jace Hubert and Maille Kelley.

More than just a celebration of a championship title, tonight's ceremony reflected the perseverance, discipline, and brotherhood that defined this team throughout their incredible season.
