Our 2nd and 3rd grade students headed to the Adirondack Experience- The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake for a day filled with immersive experiences. Our students learned about the different kinds of conifers by examining them, learning the differences and taking a close look through a special microscope. They were able to make scented balsam pillows, spend some time in the snow and try out a lean-to.
Learning in this hands-on way helps our students better understand and respect the world around them while sharing fun experiences.
