The competitors of the 2023 Battle of the Books were able to meet in person this year. The thrill of the competition filled the halls- it was great to be together again! We are proud of all the students who participated in this exciting battle. Reading ten books in a short time and preparing to know about each in order to answer questions is a big accomplishment! A majority of the schools in our 31 district Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES region participated in this great event! Congratulations all four of our Battle of the Books teams!
Thank you to our librarian, Ms. Jorgensen and our coaches, Mrs. Castellano, Mrs. Nesbitt and Mr. Volkmann, for all their hard work to get students ready for the competition and for further nurturing a love of reading!
