This past weekend Key Club Advisor, Mrs. Borgh and four Key Club members, Sam Foy, Parker Shippee, Ben Birkholz and Jaden Nieves took part in the LGA clean-up day at Rogers Park.
The Lake George Association put out the call all Lake Protectors to roll up their sleeves and dive into action at our 3rd Annual Lake George CleanUp Day! Our BCS students were ready and willing to pitch in and support the well-being of our natural resources in their own backyard.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Dive Team lead the underwater clean-up efforts and students picked up trash on the park grounds and assisted divers in transporting what they found on the lake floor to the trash receptacles. It was a great morning caring for our community and being good stewards of our lake. Thank you to our Key Club participants for setting a great example of working together!
Our Key Club participants will be out and about volunteering as often as possible this year. Keep an eye out for our students making a positive impact in and around our community!
