Big news here at Bolton Central School! Recently our Pre- Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade students had a great time celebrating the 100th day of school. There were celebrations and learning too! Lessons included facts about the calendar and lots of ways to make math fun and enjoyable. There was a lot of counting to 100, finding 100 things and also understanding that 100 is a place holder in math. Students made a tower of ten cups on each of their desks. Then they took turns creating a cup tower by adding their ten cups to make a 100-cup tower. Everyone enjoyed the activities and working together!
