During Fire Safety and Prevention Week, our elementary students were able to visit the Bolton Volunteer Fire Department. Students spent time in the fire house getting to know our firemen, the equipment they use and some of the challenges our brave firefighters face while tending to the needs of our community. Everyone also had a chance to sit in the front seat of a fire truck!
This year our 5th graders put their computer skills to the test to create fire safety posters to remind us all of the different precautions to stay safe! Their important work was posted around the building.
We would like to sincerely thank the members of the Bolton Volunteer Fire Department for all they do to educate us about fire safety and prevention and making time to spend with us.
