Members of the Outing Club spent two days and two nights camping on St. Sacrament Island and exploring the Shelving Rock hiking trail. The group was treated to ideal weather and took full advantage of the stunning scenery right in our own region. Students and advisors reached the island by boat and enjoyed a unique outdoor adventure together. Throughout the trip students worked well together. The group learned and practiced important camping and survival skills.
The club extends sincere gratitude to Chic’s Marina for donating two pontoon boats for the trip. Their generous help made this safe and rewarding experience a reality for everyone involved.
