Beyond the Classroom: Turning Holocaust History into Action and Empathy

Each year in Mr. Kober’s World History and AP US History classes and Mrs. Humiston’s Pre-AP English 10 and AP Language and Composition classes, studying the Holocaust is a vital part of their curricula. Learning about this time period from different perspectives gives the students a deeper understanding of the historical context as well as a greater compassion for those affected by this terrible event. Some of their students even turned learning into action.

2026 Chromebook Turn In Details

As we approach the end of the school year, we are preparing for the return of student Chromebooks before summer break. Chromebook collection will take place on Monday, June 15th and Tuesday, June 16th, during student lunch periods in the cafeteria. Students should return both their Chromebook and charger on one of these days.

New Date - Middle & High School Award Ceremonies Moved to Thursday, June 11

We all know that sometimes it becomes necessary to make changes to the printed District calendar. The Middle and High School Award Ceremonies has been changed from Thursday, June 4th to Thursday, June 11th. The times remain the same with the Grades 6 - 8 Award Ceremony starting at 8:30 a.m. and Grades 9 - 12 Award Ceremony starting at 9:30 a.m. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience these changes may cause.

Modified Softball Completes an Undefeated Season!

Congratulations to our Modified Girls Softball team, Coach Reiter, and Volunteer Assistant Coaches Josh Hensler and Jane Trowbridge! The team finished their undefeated season Monday, June 1st with a win over Crown Point. Bolton Central School Musicians Shine at NYSSMA Festival

Recently, six of our music students participated in the NYSSMA Solo festival in Queensbury. Students prepared and performed saxophone, trumpet, percussion, and vocal solos. Sadie Kijowski and Michael Wood earned an excellent rating, Addie Sawyer and Daniel Hoose earned an outstanding rating, and Teddy and Lydia Phelps earned a gold rating on their solos. Congratulations to these fine representatives of the Bolton Central School Music Department!
