Welcome to our Athletics page

In Bolton we believe that athletics are a vital part of the entire educational process. Athletic programs teach student-athletes values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, respect, commitment and cooperation. It is my hope that these values learned in the Bolton Athletic Program will stay with our student-athletes for a lifetime.

Through this website we are attempting to make available important information regarding our teams as quickly and conveniently as possible. Please check the site for schedules, playing sites, directions to opposing schools and postponements. We plan to update the site daily and keep the information posted here timely.

Physicals

In accordance with New York State Education law, any student participating on an organized athletic team must have an annual physical to participate. Physicals are good for a period of one year from the date of the physical the following options are available if your son or daughter wants to participate on an athletic team:

  1. Obtain a physical at the school. A qualified physician will offer physicals at the school at least once a year.
  2. Your child may get a sport physical by their private physician. If you choose to have the physical done by your private physician, the completed physical form MUST be delivered prior to the start of practice to the school nurse or Athletic office.

Athletic Events
As a member school of Section 2 of the N.Y.S.P.H.S.A.A. and the Adirondack League, good sportsmanship and proper spectator conduct are a must.

Interscholastic sports promote sportsmanship, fair play, self respect, school and community pride. The officials, coaches and athletes believe that self respect and pride are best demonstrated through respect toward competitors, coaches and visiting spectators.
