Bolton Central School District chorus members participated in the All-County Vocal Music and Jazz Band Festival in early November. To add to that excitement, the Bolton Central School Music Department had the honor of sending a flautist to the Area All State Music Festival this year; a first-time achievement for the district!
The All-County Vocal Music and Jazz Band Festival was organized by the Washington County Area Music Teachers Association and hosted by the Whitehall Central School District. The participating districts were: Argyle, Bolton, Cambridge, Fort Ann, Fort Edward, Granville, Greenwich, Hartford, Lake George, Salem and Whitehall.
Our Choral singers included: Maddy Andersen, Anna Beuerman, Hannah Daken, Natalie Figueroa, Ella Hens, Ila Hubert, Elizabeth Huck, Riley Matuszak, Charlie Miller, Hannah Perry, Jane Pfau, Lydia Phelps, Teddy Phelps, Hannah Schwab, Tyler Trowbridge, Kaitlyn Wholey and Bailey Williams.
Charles Miller, Nora MacInnis, Daniel Cooper, Lukas Becker, and Natalie Figueroa were accepted, and performed in this year's All County Jazz Band concert held at Whitehall Central School, and brought together their leading musicians for a fun afternoon of great music for all of our All-County districts.
On November 19th, Anna Beuerman participated in this year's Area Allstate Music Festival held at Saratoga High School. Anna is one of our first participants in over a decade. Through her consistent dedication and hard work in the music field, she earned the opportunity to play in the Zone 7 NYSSMA Area Allstate Orchestra.
November was a month full of hard work, music, and fun!
