Hello Bolton Students, Parents, and Community,
Since starting as a teacher at BCS in 2011, there is one word that has always felt right to me when describing Bolton, and that is “family”. Through tight-knit relationships and by working together, we embrace our small size and supportive community to offer a high-quality education that is personalized and individual. We work hard to put many supports in place for our learners who need it, challenge those who excel beyond expectations, and meet the needs of all students. We also believe that there is plenty of learning that happens beyond the classroom walls. That is why we provide our students with ample opportunities to experience the world, within the Adirondacks and beyond, through extracurricular activities, field trips and travel opportunities, career-focused experiences, and student interest centered approach to developing well-rounded, lifelong learners.
It all comes down to believing in our mission:

Bolton Central School is a truly special place. As we move into the strategic planning process this year, I look forward to what the future brings. Through our collective care for the school and community, I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish!
