Recently our kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students visited Fort Ticonderoga for a day. They learned about the history of the Fort and toured a reconstructed version of Fort Ticonderoga. Students also met with a Living History demonstration of tailoring.
Part of the day also included a stroll on Carillon Battlefield hiking trail and visiting the top of Mount Defiance with a sweeping vista of Lake Champlain and Vermont’s Green Mountains.
