Our Peer Mentoring program is in full swing. Mentors and their mentees work together in team building activities. The group meets during the school day. The activities are designed to engage students, increase their ability to work with their peers and boost their self-confidence. Not to mention the time spent together safely offers an opportunity for some down time!
In this team building exercise two teams of students had to work together to build a tower of cups without talking or touching the cups. Each student was to tie a string to a rubber band. Using their teamwork skills, students worked together to fit the rubber around a cup and lift it into position.
Collaboration was the word of the day and got the cup towers built!
