Bolton Central School elementary students were the lucky beneficiaries of a very generous act! The Bolton Free Library was awarded a grant from the Generous Acts Fund at Adirondack Foundation.
Megan Baker, library director and Mary Ciccarelli, library trustee worked with BCS librarian Denise Jorgensen to make sure that every student in grades Pre- K through 5th grade were able to choose a book to take home. “I have loved books my whole life, even when I didn’t know how to read. I want to pass that love onto a whole new generation”, said Megan Baker. Students enjoyed the extra treat and many got right to reading!
Thank you to the Bolton Free Library and Adirondack Foundation for providing this delightful opportunity for students to kick of their summer reading with a new book!
