Elementary Students Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!

Recently our elementary students celebrated Dr. Seuss’ Birthday all week long! The week was filled with lots of extra reading (of Dr. Seuss books of course!) and some fun theme days. Some slime was also part of the fun!

Of course, on “Cat in the Hat” day, students wore their favorite hats. “Green Eggs and Ham” day had students wearing green! On Lorax day some students wore orange while others wore red, white and blue in recognition of “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.”

Having our students enjoy Dr. Seuss’ fun to read  out loud writing style helps nurture life long readers!
